Create an imaginary family restaurant and ask everyone to help design a menu with soon-to-be favorite healthy meals and snacks. You could even take a trip to the grocery story to find your recipes’ ingredients to prepare together. This is a great activity to learn everyone’s tastes and garner ideas for new after-school snacks and meals. Being able to think of tasty, healthy alternatives to junk food when hunger strikes will help stave off cravings.
